Michael’s career has given him a close view of what happens when ambition moves faster than a business’s systems and ways of working. His work has focused on closing that gap.

Seeing the business through its people

He joined Just Eat in 2014, supporting colleagues from frontline teams to the executive leadership. Every request brought him closer to the everyday work: what people needed, where they got stuck and how technology could help them move forward. That perspective stayed with him as he progressed into Salesforce and business systems leadership.

From 2016, his work increasingly addressed the processes behind the problems. CRM configuration, automation and workflow improvements helped reduce the time between a restaurant signing up and going online by 66%. The impact was practical: less waiting and a faster route from a signed agreement to an operational restaurant.

Making international growth easier to manage

As his responsibilities expanded at Just Eat Takeaway.com, Michael brought Sales, Marketing and Operations together around shared requirements. He helped consolidate six sales processes across six countries into one consistent approach, aligning the platform and data model with the needs of a growing international business.

This work required people to agree how they would operate together, as well as changes to the technology. The Salesforce team’s 2020 Collaboration Heroes award recognised its work connecting stakeholders and reducing duplicated effort across UK and European sales teams.

Connecting operational change to commercial results

At MongoDB, Michael led the systems and processes behind the journey from initial enquiry to account. Between 2022 and 2026, his responsibilities spanned lead creation, enrichment, routing and conversion. Improving that journey meant tackling the handovers, information and ownership that determined how quickly sales teams could act.

Lead conversion increased, response times fell and account matching became more accurate. Alongside those improvements, he led a six-person team from reactive support towards a product-oriented approach, with shared priorities and accountability for outcomes. Delivery-process improvements increased throughput by 60%.

Building capability that lasts

Michael’s approach to transformation also centres on the people responsible for sustaining it. Through coaching and a structured career-development framework, he supported the promotion of three direct reports and achieved a 100% management effectiveness score in the company survey. His LinkedIn recommendations highlight his ability to bring teams together and develop others through change.

He brings that experience to MiGA: helping founders and leadership teams understand the real constraint, agree what to change and give their people the ownership and support to make it work. Whether the issue is a slow customer handover, unreliable reporting or too much dependence on the founder, the aim is a measurable improvement that the business can sustain.

Start with the real work

Better connections.
Fewer barriers.

Problems often sit in the gaps: between a team and its tools, a sale and its handover, or a report and the decisions it should inform.

We listen to the people doing the work, connect their experience to the commercial picture and focus on improvements that matter.
